Cartoon History

ACartoons have been a center piece of media for over 100 years! While cartoons are usually seen as something that is moving, they are more like a visual style to try and draw the reader in and enterain them. Animation can be a form of cartoon, that uses still images and move them really fast to create a form of movement.

Around the golden age of animation they have made classics like Popeye the sailor, Bugs Bunny, Mickey Mouse, Woody Woodpecker, and more! As time when on cartoons are still a center piece within human culture for years, and it's here to say.

Cartoon Network History

Cartoon Network or CN was launched in 1992 and was created by Warner Brothers and started The Real Quest of Jonny Quest, Cartoon Planet, SWAT Kats: The Radical Squadron, and 2 Stupid Dogs. What a Cartoon! aired in 1995 and it featured all of the Hanna-Baraera cartoons within Cartoon Network.

The first cartoon that was exclusive for CN was The Moxy Show, first airing in 1993 and tried to be a mascot for CN, but it failed. For the cartoons people like like Powerpuff Girls and Dexter Laboratory it will also be around in 1997-2004.

My favorite Cartoon Network shows

My Favorite cartoons shows are Powerpuff Girls, The Amazing World of Gumball, and Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends. I love Powerpuff Girls for being very powerful women rep, great action, and morals that everyone can learn from.

The Amazing World of Gumball is a fun slice of life series where it could be anything to storytelling, to comedic bits, to references, it has it all.

And Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, is a sitcom where you get to watch the main characters interact with other imaginary friends and find a solution to the problems that they imaginary friend has. I think I like a lot of CN shows like Adventure Time, The Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy and so on, I love a lot of CN's stuff look at tihs cool show!

Nickelodeon History

Nickelodeon or Nick is an American cable network that focuses on children to teens around 2 to 17 years old. In 1990's Nick choose three cartoons pilots to start them off which are, Doug, Rugrats and The Ren & Stimpy Show which came out with the release of NickToons.

SpongeBob released on 1999 and it is still one of Nickelodeon most recognizable cartoons of all time. Nickelodeon now mostly does it's networking onto Paramount+ and hosting all of the classics that you know today!

My Favorite Nick Shows

My favorite shows from Nickelodeon are Avatar: The Last Airbender, Invader Zim, and Danny Phantom. Avatar to me has been one of my favorite shows because of it's story telling, characters, and witty humor that always made me laugh.

Invader Zim has been something I have enjoy for it's weird humor and visuals, while been something that is entertaining to watch.

Danny Phantom is a weaker favorite of mine, but it's action scenes and willingness to make a cool super hero character will always win my heart over. While Avatar, Zim, and Danny Phantom are my favorite tv shows from Nick, it doesn't mean that they are the only good ones on here there are so much more to love in here!

  

Disney History

he Walt Disney Studio, or just Disney was founded around Oct/19/1923 but later was renamed to The Walt Disney Company. Steamboat Willie was the first post-produced sound cartoon, that became fair use as of recent.

Do to the movie, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, in 1934 Disney got the funded needed to continue making animations like Pinocchio and Fantasia in 1940, and both added ground breaking advancements in cinema at the time do to it's early surround sound. Today, they made a network Disney Channel and streaming service Disney+.

My Favorite Disney Shows

The shows that I love are Ducktales(2017), and Kim Possible. Ducktales(2017), while being a remake of the orginal Ducktales, it adds new ideas into the show and references other duck shows at the time like darkwing duck, a great watch.

Kim Possible is a spy shows, with good action, witty humor and drama that adds a lot into the show, it has charm everywhere.

Gravity Falls is one of the best Disney shows I have seen, it has everything you need in a mystery show, and the humor to back it up, a bit a horror spice in and you are in for a wild but fun ride.

The main thing I think about with Disney is the movie intro, being the song when you wish upon a star, it's really good and I need people to hear it.
